2009 2010 Cadillac STS

The new 2009 2010 Cadillac STS models descend from the Seville, a car produced by Cadillac for over 50 years. The 2009 and 2010 models feature available V6 and V8 engines. Standard features include 17 inch wheels, leather seats, wood trim, power front seats, climate control, keyless entry and start, satellite radio, Bluetooth, Bose sound system and Onstar. The V8 however has more to offer, including a CD changer, memory seat presets, all heated seats, heated steering wheel and rain sensing wipers. These features can be added to the V6 model in the form of packages.

The STS comes standard with a 3.6 liter V6 that puts out 302 HP and 272 T, but a 4.6 liter V8 with 320 HP and 315 T can be added as an option. Either engine can be equipped with rear wheel drive or all wheel drive and use a 6 speed automatic transmission.

  • V6 – 17 city / 26 highway
  • V8 – 15 city / 24 highway

Safety

The STS comes standard with some nice equipment, including antilock disc brakes, stability control and plenty of airbags. As mentioned in the features section, lane departure warning and other nice options help keep the driver safe and on the road. The car got 4 out of 5 stars in frontal impacts and 5 stars for rear impacts.
